Purpose and Rules of the Association

Purpose

The purpose of BRRCE is to promote cultural exchanges between Chinese Australian as well as new immigrants in BAYSIDE region and Australian local residents, assist the new immigrants to fit in local community as soon as possible, strengthen communication among Association members, enrich the daily life of members, and carry out various of activities such as education and training, culture and sports, tourism and fitness. Actively participate in charity and public welfare in the district.

Rules

1. To become a membership, a written application is required and with the approval of the Association.

2. All members are supposed to pay regular membership fees, follow the leadership of the association, and are entitled to welfare and benefits supplied by the association.

3. The member can withdraw freely after notifying the association. In case a member seriously violate association rules, the association may cancel its membership.

4. The Association as well all members will follow Australian laws.

5. The association respects freedom of belief and any religious belief can participate in its activities.

6. The association is established to promote cultural exchanges and no member of the shall participate in any political activity in the association.

7. Members should be integrated, seek common ground while reserving differences, help each other and jointly maintain the healthy development of the association.

8. Members should actively participate in various activities organized by the Association, long-term absentee may cause disqualification unless in special circumstances.
